Sagrada Familia and Park Güell

We hit the top two touristic attractions of the city and I must say they did not disappoint. The Sagada Familia was a wonder to see. The inside was a little more modern than what we expected but beautiful nonetheless. My favorite part about the interior were the stain glass windows. The light they reflect is so beautiful and the colors are amazing.  After our tour we headed to Park Güell where we hiked a little (which I wore wrong clothes and shoes for) and were able to see amazing view of the city. The park displays some of Gaudi’s work […]

Chattanooga Getaway Travel Guide

Hey Y’all!!! 🙂 Hope you’re having a great day so far. Joshio and I recently went on a little 2-night getaway to Chattanooga, TN. The last time we had gone to Chattanooga was when I was 8 months preggo. We went for our 5 year anniversary and also as a babymoon to spend some quality time with each other before baby arrived. I’ve always loved this city and I remember going often with my family when I was younger. There is so much to do and and many places to see. We were in much need of some quality time […]

CITY WALK

Blue Blouse with Beaded Trim: Dress Up Hi Everyone! Tuesday called for rain (again) but this time we were smart enough not to believe the weather man and still go about our day. We went to shipwreck island again and this time Callie wasn’t scared, yay! She had finally got use to the splashing water and lazy river 🙂 I’m probably too excited about this but it was truly accomplishment-lol (typical mom) Anyway, guess what we did after the pool??? Yup, you guessed it-we took a nap. What’s a vacation without your daily siestas? (aka-naps) After our naps we went […]

Puddle Fun and Downtown Disney

Crepe Dress: H&M (on sale now) Hi Everyone! Sunday morning we woke up to a rainy, gloomy and wet day in Orlando. I was pretty bummed about it because it’s actually suppose to rain the whole time we’re here 🙁 Boooo! So Sunday morning we got dressed and went to Ross (haha) and had lunch at one of the restaurants here at the resort. All our food was really good so I was happy about that. Callie was pretty fussy cause she was tired so on our way back to the room I let her jump in all the puddles […]

Childhood Friends

Hi Again, So after a restful Friday night we were ready to have some fun and really start enjoying our vacation on Saturday. Unfortunately, the weather called for clouds and rain BUT there was a short window where there was no rain and we were able to make it to the pool. I called up my friend Zoe to bring her little girl and come hang out with us. Zoe and I have been friends since childhood, we’ve known each other since we were 5 and grew up together until about our early twenties and from there kinda went our […]

Getaway | Dahlonega, GA

Black and White Striped Dress: TJMaxx (Similar here) White and Silver Sandals: Target Hi Everyone! My parents are part “owners” of this place called R Ranch in Dahlonega, GA. We use it often for church retreats and conferences. I remember going all the time when I was younger since my parents took me everywhere with them.  There are two types of cabins there, the “nicer” ones with air conditioning and restrooms inside and the “more rustic” ones with no air conditioning and outhouses for restrooms and showers. So I had planned this mini-trip about 3 weeks ago when my parents came back […]

Cancun Mexico 2015

Hi There! Getting around to completing another video diary. For some reason these always take me so long to get to but I force myself to do them because I love looking back at our trips. So Joshio’s birthday was coming up and I wanted to surprise him with a trip to Cancun. We hadn’t gone a trip by ourselves since Callie was born (17 months exactly!). It. was. time. Before having Callie I would always like to take a (just us) trip every 6 months. Whether it was somewhere exotic or just a weekend getaway, it’s always nice to get […]

California 2015

I finally got around to putting together our video diary of our trip to California back in March. This was a much needed trip as we were dealing with something very difficult in our lives. This trip came in perfect timing! We wanted to go so that Joshio’s family could see Callie. She had grown so much from when they saw her as a newborn. Callie was able to enjoy her aunts and cousins and we were able to enjoy being with each other. It was also Joshio’s spring break and my birthday. We didn’t do to much site seeing […]

Argentina

So I’m catching up on adding my travel videos to my blog just to have everything linked to one place. We traveled to Argentina in 2012 to visit family for the first time. We had such an amazing trip. I’m glad I was able to see and experience a part of my mom’s childhood along with my hubby, sissy and brother-in-law. Oh! and my mom too! Duh! Other than spending time with my cousins and aunt, the most memorable thing was the food. It was amazing! So tasty and flavorful. Meal time is different down there too, people actually like […]

Italy

Ahhh, Italia! Italy is such a beautiful country, I would go back any day. This was our first trip to Europe. I must say that we had a bit of a culture shock when we arrived. We honestly expected to understand the language a little better (since we speak spanish) but they speak so fast that we just couldn’t understand. We also weren’t prepared on how to get around. I can go on about what we could’ve done better to prepare for this trip but I’d rather talk about what we enjoyed. The views!!!! We stayed in […]
