Cutest Place Ever! | Pueblo Español

How cute is this place?! We actually didn’t plan on going here but one of our taxi drivers mentioned it and we looked it up. I’m so glad we decided to come. Looks like a lot of tourists don’t know about this place because it was pretty empty which was perfect for us 😉 Basically, it’s a small, enclosed village with a ton of restaurants, handcrafts and shops. There are areas within the village that represent different regions of Spain. Each street and store was seriously picture perfect and architecture and designs are really neat. We had lunch at one of the […]

Sagrada Familia and Park Güell

We hit the top two touristic attractions of the city and I must say they did not disappoint. The Sagada Familia was a wonder to see. The inside was a little more modern than what we expected but beautiful nonetheless. My favorite part about the interior were the stain glass windows. The light they reflect is so beautiful and the colors are amazing.  After our tour we headed to Park Güell where we hiked a little (which I wore wrong clothes and shoes for) and were able to see amazing view of the city. The park displays some of Gaudi’s work […]

Can’t Believe We’re Here! | Barcelona, Spain

Hello from Spain! Can’t believe we’re actually here! It’s always been a dream of mine to come to Barcelona and it’s truly a remarkable city. Our first day here was rough (like any first day when traveling across the world). We got here early morning on Saturday and had to wait until our airbnb was ready and that wasn’t until like 3pm! We were so exhausted and ended sleeping on benches in a nearby park while we waited…lol! Do what you gotta do! Once we got our apartment we settled in and later than night we headed to see Barcelona […]

Getaway | Dahlonega, GA

Black and White Striped Dress: TJMaxx (Similar here) White and Silver Sandals: Target Hi Everyone! My parents are part “owners” of this place called R Ranch in Dahlonega, GA. We use it often for church retreats and conferences. I remember going all the time when I was younger since my parents took me everywhere with them.  There are two types of cabins there, the “nicer” ones with air conditioning and restrooms inside and the “more rustic” ones with no air conditioning and outhouses for restrooms and showers. So I had planned this mini-trip about 3 weeks ago when my parents came back […]

Cancun Mexico 2015

Hi There! Getting around to completing another video diary. For some reason these always take me so long to get to but I force myself to do them because I love looking back at our trips. So Joshio’s birthday was coming up and I wanted to surprise him with a trip to Cancun. We hadn’t gone a trip by ourselves since Callie was born (17 months exactly!). It. was. time. Before having Callie I would always like to take a (just us) trip every 6 months. Whether it was somewhere exotic or just a weekend getaway, it’s always nice to get […]

California 2015

I finally got around to putting together our video diary of our trip to California back in March. This was a much needed trip as we were dealing with something very difficult in our lives. This trip came in perfect timing! We wanted to go so that Joshio’s family could see Callie. She had grown so much from when they saw her as a newborn. Callie was able to enjoy her aunts and cousins and we were able to enjoy being with each other. It was also Joshio’s spring break and my birthday. We didn’t do to much site seeing […]

Argentina

So I’m catching up on adding my travel videos to my blog just to have everything linked to one place. We traveled to Argentina in 2012 to visit family for the first time. We had such an amazing trip. I’m glad I was able to see and experience a part of my mom’s childhood along with my hubby, sissy and brother-in-law. Oh! and my mom too! Duh! Other than spending time with my cousins and aunt, the most memorable thing was the food. It was amazing! So tasty and flavorful. Meal time is different down there too, people actually like […]

Italy

Ahhh, Italia! Italy is such a beautiful country, I would go back any day. This was our first trip to Europe. I must say that we had a bit of a culture shock when we arrived. We honestly expected to understand the language a little better (since we speak spanish) but they speak so fast that we just couldn’t understand. We also weren’t prepared on how to get around. I can go on about what we could’ve done better to prepare for this trip but I’d rather talk about what we enjoyed. The views!!!! We stayed in […]
