6 Weeks Later

^Scared I was going to drop her^ lol So, 6 weeks later after delivering baby Jacob and I’m alive and well lol. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, adjusting to having a newborn at home and our new family dynamic but I feel things have settled a bit and we are adjusting well to our new normal. It’s getting easier to go out and enjoy life and do things outside of the house. Callie has adjusted well and is totally in love with Jacob. She kisses him all the time, baby talks him, and always wants to caress him. […]

Georgia Aquarium

Hi There! It’s been over a month since I’ve posted and sorry about that! Life has been a little hectic but I’m back ūüôā Both grandmas have been out of town which means I don’t really have anyone to take care of my Callie bear and I had to take a few days off last week (not complaining!) I’m so happy I was able to spend time with Callie. Joshio took off on Friday and we decided to take Callie to the aquarium for the first time. She absolutely loved it and had a blast watching the Sea Lions and […]

Summer Makeup | Wedding Style

Hi There! I love the bright colors of summer but I hate the humidity and how my face gets sooo greasy. I have combo skin but I think it leans more towards oily (especially in the summer).¬†I feel like it got super hot, super quick here in Atlanta and that small window we had to be outdoors without drenching in sweat is over (tear drop), but if you can stand the heat and eventually get out, here’s a look to try out. I recently went to a friend’s wedding and I wanted to play with some colors that matched my […]

Big Girl Room

Hi There!!! I have been wanting to switch Callie over to the guest room for the longest time now and I finally tackled the project and moved her over. I had taken before pictures but accidentally deleted them on the memory card :/ But just to give you an idea, this room before was a dark navy blue and had a queen bed in it. Callie’s baby room was getting a little small for her and honestly, ever since I switched her to a toddler bed she was waking up a lot in the middle of the night. I […]

GRADUATION DAY!

Today was the day we had waited for, for a looooong time. Six years ago, my husband Joshio embarked on a journey that he didn’t expect to take that long. He started school expecting some credits from community college in LA to transfer over but they weren’t accepted and what he thought would take two years to complete, took six! Working full-time and having a child during this process was not easy. It took a lot of patience, dedication and time. There were so many moments when he wanted to give up but he had a goal and vision to […]

Happy New Year!

I know I am sooooo late with this post but it has been in Draft for awhile now and finally finished up the video. I hope you all had a great holiday season. We sure did! I was off from work for 12 days, starting Wednesday before Christmas until this past Monday. It was amazing. I kinda felt like I should have traveled somewhere or done something out of state but Joshio still had to work so we stayed home. It was time well spent with my baby girl. My parents were out of town for Christmas, visiting my brother […]

Harvest Balloon Festival

Hi Everyone, This past weekend was our anniversary weekend and we decided to have family day on Saturday. We were going to go to the Johns Creek Arts and Crafts festival but at the last minute I saw this post on FB about the Harvest Balloon Festival in Flowery Branch. They have hot air balloons so I thought that would be pretty cool to see. We started off Saturday morning pretty rough, Callie had woken up practically every hour the night before. I’m not sure what was wrong with her but she would wake up crying, calling for us. […]

Mommy and Me

I’ve always wanted to do a mommy and me session. Moms have such a special bond with their children. I’m not saying that Dad’s don’t but it’s different. Only moms experience completely being one with their child while in the womb. When Callie was first born it actually took me a while to make that “bond” or “connection” with her. As a new mom, I was quite terrified and had no idea what I was doing. I was also very emotional as hormones are going crazy during this time. It was around the holiday season so Joshio was able to […]
