Sagrada Familia and Park Güell

Barcelona, Spain img_5242 img_5247 img_5253 img_5259 img_5272 img_5284 img_5330 img_5339 img_5350 img_5352 img_5355 img_5370 img_5377 img_5378 img_5381 img_5387 img_5389 img_5393

We hit the top two touristic attractions of the city and I must say they did not disappoint. The Sagada Familia was a wonder to see. The inside was a little more modern than what we expected but beautiful nonetheless. My favorite part about the interior were the stain glass windows. The light they reflect is so beautiful and the colors are amazing.

After our tour we headed to Park Güell where we hiked a little (which I wore wrong clothes and shoes for) and were able to see amazing view of the city. The park displays some of Gaudi’s work and honestly felt like I was in candy land…lol. Mainly because the little buildings looked like gingerbread houses with frosting on top hehe.

You do so much walking here in Barcelona and I love it, there is always something new to see and experience. Today we went to a hidden gem and I can’t wait to share pictures of it! 🙂
