Note to self-Don’t wear white pants and sandals-lol!

This past weekend we went strawberry picking for the first time! I had a friend stay with us for the weekend so we wanted to get out and do something fun and new. Washington farms has two locations and we actually went to both in the same day! Joshio stayed home studying so he couldn’t go with us (sad face-but I am beyond excited that he graduates in 2 weeks!)
I thought the first location had something called Spring Days going on but it was actually the other location so we picked strawberries in Loganville and had some Spring Day fun at the Watkinsville location. They do the Spring Days every 3rd Saturday of the month. They also have blackberries and blueberries to pick at the Watkinsville location but they aren’t in season just yet so I will definitely be going back.
As exhausted as we were by the end of the day, we really had a great time. The strawberries were so sweet and delicious and perfect for making strawberry shortcakes. Callie had so much fun on all the little kid activities and looking at animals. I really was the perfect day to be outside and enjoy the sun. I even got a little sunburn on my shoulders which actually feels nice-haha!
