Hi Beautiful People!

I am so excited to be sharing this video! I’ve been doing fitness boxing for a couple years now (on and off) and it has been the best way to maintain and lose weight.  I started about 5 years ago (at a different location) then stopped when I got pregnant and then started again when I was struggling to lose the baby weight. I’m the type of person that needs someone there telling me what to do and how to properly workout. I tried the gym thing on my own for a couple of months and because of this reason, it just didn’t work for me. This class is a total body workout-which is what I like. It’s an one hour class that consists of the following:

  • 15 Minute Cardio Warm-up
  • 30 Minutes of “Bag Work” or 8- 3 minute rounds with 1 minute of active rest in between
  • 15 minutes of core work

By the end of the class you are exhausted! Heck, by the end of the warm-up I’m exhausted! lol

You can burn up to 1000 calories per class, if you are working really hard and to the max. I probably burn less because I don’t “hit it hard” as much as I should. I’m a bit of a slacker :/. I try to go 2-3 times a week. I would recommend three times a week to get the most out of the class, lately though, I’ve only been doing two times a week.

I just want to note that I know I’m not totally fit and in the best shape of my life. I still have some pounds to lose and there is a lot of toning up I could do. I do not have the perfect body and I’m OK with that. If I really wanted to tone up I would have to take more classes throughout the week and change some eating habits. This is just what I’m doing now to stay active and keep my body moving.
