Hi Everyone!

Hope you all had a great Labor Day Weekend. On Saturday we had a date night to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. I have been there about 3 times in the last month! Why? Well, last year we bought a membership and it is soon to expire (at the end of this month) so I’ve been trying to go and take people as much as I can (since it’s free). Also, I really do enjoy the ABG. During the day, it’s really fun to walk around and take Callie, she loves being outdoors and they have a little children’s garden too that she really enjoys.

Right now, they have a special exhibit called Bruce Muno: Light In the Garden. It’s really neat to see and super romantic 🙂 There’s one area where there are about 30,000 little lights everywhere! I seriously felt like I was in the movie Avatar…lol! 😀

So Saturday night we decided to go with some friends, first we had dinner at a nearby restaurant called One Midtown Kitchen. It’s super close to the gardens and really delicious. It’s a bit pricey ($25-$30 per person) but really nice and romantic. After dinner, we drove two minutes to the gardens and walked it off. Our membership got us half off the event, so pretty much $11 per person +$10 parking fee.

So, if you’re looking for something to do in Atlanta, I highly recommend visiting the ABG. The Light exhibit ends in October, so only a few weeks left to enjoy!

God Bless!
