7 YEARS | Our Anniversary

I seriously can’t believe it’s been seven years already! Anniversaries are so special especially nowadays when people break things off so easily and marriage is becoming less and less important. I plan on doing another post on our “love story” so I’m not going to share so much on how we met and yada yada. BUT, I do want to mention that marriage aint easy. Especially when you get married at 20 years old. Our first couple of years of marriage was rough, we were learning how to deal with each other’s personalities and in the process I was still […]

Harvest Balloon Festival

Hi Everyone, This past weekend was our anniversary weekend and we decided to have family day on Saturday. We were going to go to the Johns Creek Arts and Crafts festival but at the last minute I saw this post on FB about the Harvest Balloon Festival in Flowery Branch. They have hot air balloons so I thought that would be pretty cool to see. We started off Saturday morning pretty rough, Callie had woken up practically every hour the night before. I’m not sure what was wrong with her but she would wake up crying, calling for us. […]

Mommy and Me

I’ve always wanted to do a mommy and me session. Moms have such a special bond with their children. I’m not saying that Dad’s don’t but it’s different. Only moms experience completely being one with their child while in the womb. When Callie was first born it actually took me a while to make that “bond” or “connection” with her. As a new mom, I was quite terrified and had no idea what I was doing. I was also very emotional as hormones are going crazy during this time. It was around the holiday season so Joshio was able to […]

Sweater Weather | Oversized Sweaters

Green Sweater: H&M (similar here , here , and here), Brown Boots with Black Detail: H&M, Cream Sweater: H&M, Brown Booties With Heel: Target Over sized sweaters are the best! Don’t you agree? I remember when it was in style to wear thick, tight sweater that just made you look bigger than you really were. Also, I know these are in style now, but crop top sweaters just don’t fly with me. I mean, I’m cold-so why would I want my belly showing? Oversize sweaters are socially acceptable blankets-LOL! Why are they so amazing? Well, you can hide any extra weight you’ve been caring […]

Could It Be Worse?

The answer is, YES! So the other day I was thinking about my problems. Don’t we all? There comes a time throughout our day that we just sit there sometimes and think about what we’re going through, why are we going through it, and end up giving our selves a pity party without even knowing it. It’s so easy to do that sometimes. A few days later, I was listening to the radio on my way to work (like I always do) and heard about a lady who’s son was fighting a brain tumor. On another occasion I was scrolling […]

Easy Voluminous Hair | Instyler Review and Demo

Hi Everyone, So let me start off by saying the I was sent the Instyler for review and demo, however I am not getting paid to do this review and demo and really am sharing because I like it and it really works well. So, now that that’s out of the way let’s move on 🙂 I’m not going to reiterate everything I stated in the video but a couple of key points: The Instyler Max is lightweight which makes it really easy to use I’ve been outside in the rain and humidity and my hair has still stayed styled […]
